Abstract
This is a letter describing the geographic settings of the Feltre area by Garducci (1784). In it the Author proposes also a theory to explain angular unconformities observed in the area as effect of landslides after the Deluge. His theory is in contrast to the Odoardi's (1761) against the Deluge and based on observations in the same area. The text here proposed is not for sure the original version, but retrieved from a second publication in the late XIX century. Some pictures and a schema interpretating this theory are added for a better understanding.
